In order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the development of private economy, we will promote the implementation of the Private Economy Promotion Law. On May 23,2025, the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Hainan Province and the General Office of the Provincial Government jointly organized and held a symposium between the provincial government and the Chamber of Commerce. Liu Xiaoming, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor, presided over the meeting, listened to the opinions and suggestions of the chamber of commerce face to face, and guided the chamber of commerce and private enterprises to play a greater role in the construction of the free trade port.

Provincial leaders Yin Libo and Gu Gang attended the meeting. Lin Sheng, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Ding Fei, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, heads of relevant departments and bureaus, representatives of some foreign chambers of commerce in the province, and representatives of overseas merchants from Shanghai, Xiamen and Hong Kong attended the meeting. Liu Wenjun, Vice Chairman of Hainan Province Federation of Industry and Commerce, President of Guizhou Chamber of Commerce of Hainan Province and Chairman of Zhongshi Group, attended the meeting.

Liu Xiaoming pointed out that chambers of commerce and private enterprises have played an important role in Hainan's economic and social development and the construction of a free trade port. The provincial government will want to stand together and work together with chambers of commerce and private enterprises to promote Hainan from a hot land for investment to a fertile land for investment. Liu Xiaoming hopes that chambers of commerce will give full play to their advantages, strengthen their confidence in development, strengthen their own construction and contribute more to the development of free trade ports.

At the meeting, Liu Wenjun briefly reported on the development of Guizhou Chamber of Commerce in Hainan Province, and put forward opinions and suggestions on how the government can play a greater role in empowering the Chamber of Commerce, strengthen the mechanism and policy guarantee to assist the Chamber of Commerce to participate in attracting investment, and further optimize the business environment and polish the gold-lettered signboard for the construction of free trade port.
